Revit 2024.3.4 (build 24.3.40.0) - doent work with py 6.1

Revit crashes on multiple py versions. The runtime doesnt appear to work with the latest revit 24.3.4. Is this a know bug?

Similar errors, but two important differences from before — the 6.0.0 vs 6.1.0 conflict is gone (good, that was the 6.x bug), and the Runtime.2024 is now built against 24.0.0.0 instead of 24.3.30.0. Still mismatched against your 24.3.40.0, but it’s a different mismatch.

Crucially though, the journal ends abruptly without a clean exit — meaning Revit crashed or hung. The last thing it logged was loading pyRevit, and then nothing.

The core problem is the same across every version: pyRevit’s Runtime.2024 DLL doesn’t match your specific Revit 24.3.40.0 build. Your Revit 2024.3.4 update seems to be newer than what any released pyRevit version has been tested against.

First: Download the latest WIP from github, we fixed a ton of issues in the last month.

Second: Please create an issue on github.

Third: please include logging, screenshots, Revit crash reports.

Right now, I cannot reproduce your issue, pyRevit 6.1 runs fine here with Revit 2024.3.4
