PyRevit Tab Missing After Reinstallation – Need Help!

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with PyRevit and could use some help. Originally, when I ran PyRevit, there was a tab called ‘pyrevit’ which had various options and extensions. However, after I deleted and reinstalled PyRevit, that tab has disappeared.

I’ve tried reinstalling multiple times, but the ‘pyrevit’ tab just won’t show up. Has anyone else encountered this problem or know how to fix it? Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

try the following:

  • unsintall (check there is no pyrevit or pyrevit cli still listed in the installed softwares list)
  • delete %appdata%/pyrevit and %appdata%/pyrevit-master folders
  • download the latest release and install

this usually does the trick
