I installed the WIP version and modified the .py file where it was looking for networking resources or something like that. The error message in Revit gave me the path and I simply put # in front of the line that was calling for networking. Then it ran as expected.

Right now the production release of pyRevit (v4.8.16) does not support Revit 2025, which saw large updates on the back in for the first time in a while which has cause a massive redevelopment effort to start to get pyRevit working on Revit 2025.
Right now there are work in progress (WIP) releases which will run on Revit 2025 and previous versions. Be forewarned there are risks when running a WIP release - it should be considered “unstable” and caution should be exercise should be used.
One good way of mitigating risk is to only use the WIP release in Revit 2025, and keep using the stable/production release for previous versions of Revit. You can see how to do so in this forum post.
