Hosting a Custom Extension on ACC?

Hi all,
My practice are looking to move away from a server based system to purely running on ACC (let’s not get into the debate of if this is a bad idea…), but that is posing me with a query.
Currently, I’ve got my practice custom extension hosted on a server, with users simply pathing to that. Can I simply copy this extension folder structure over to a dedicated “project” on ACC and have users path to that?

May sound like a stupid question that I could jsut test myself, but we don’t have all the relevant ACC infrastrucutre set up just yet.

Hi,
not a stupid question.
It should work, but with the following requirements:

  • Desktop connector installed
  • ACC Project synched and accessible offline
  • and the obvious: point to the right folder in pyrevit

My company does basically the same thing except hosted in a One Drive folder. As long as it’s accessible offline as Jean-Marc mentioned it works great. If you have any scripts that had hardcoded file paths to the server that will now be on ACC you’ll need to process these as desktop connector file paths have the user name in them. Hope this makes sense.
