Deploying a custom pyRevit toolbar on company PCs

Hi all,

We’re currently using PDQ deploy to run a script which copies Dynamo dependencies and a config file for pyrevit but often the installation doesn’t go through properly - either the toolbar doesn’t show up on the ribbon or the needed dependencies were not copied.

I was wondering how do you usually deploy custom pyRevit toolbars in your company? Is there a better way to go about that? Any input would be very much appreciated!

Howdy howdy!

Your best friend for that will be the pyRevit CLI & pyRevit for Teams workflow. Using the CLI you’ll be able to deploy your own pyRevit toolbars to your endpoints as well as manage them, like pushing out updates. I’ll let those two Notion pages speak for themselves but let me/us know if you have any questions!
