I was able to do this using this solution:

Launch an add-in from a PyRevit button

I wasn’t in front of my computer at the time. It should be from pyrevit import HOST_APP, UI uiapp = HOST_APP.uiapp command_id = UI.RevitCommandId.LookupCommandId("CustomCtrl_%CustomCtrl_%CustomCtrl_%Add-Ins%SPICETOOLS%RUTILITIES%Librarian:Librarian.ExternalCommands.CommandToggleDockVisibility") uiapp.PostCommand(command_id.Id)

But it may depend on the addin you are “connecting” to and you have to find the correct command_id.
To find the command_id, check the jorunal after clicking the button you try to “copy”, or check the “KeyboardShortcuts.xml” in %appdata%\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit [year]

I tried the .invokebutton bundle, but never got it to work.
